Venice:

Tourist Spiral
2003

Harry Sachs and Franz Hoefner sought to create a project that revealed failure, simultaneously bringing to light the difficulty of artists' actions in public spaces and the velocity with which Venice is viewed by tourists. In fact, on a couple of occasions, these two artists have tried to transform the visitors lined up to see the Basilica of San Marco into the form of a spiral.

Another almost impossible project consists of rendering a car carcass floatable by turning it upside down and sealing it. They will then film a video through the windscreen while the car is towed documenting the visual effect of driving underwater.
